Who is responsible

Waitlist
If you join the waitlist we store:
- your e-mail address,
- your answer to “What would you pay?”, if you gave one,
- a short tag for the website or forum the link came from (e.g. “reddit”), if the link had one,
- the date and time of the sign-up and of your confirmation.
After signing up you receive one e-mail with a confirmation link (double opt-in). If you do not confirm within 7 days, your entry is deleted automatically.
We do not store your IP address or browser details with your sign-up.
Purpose: to tell you when Kitsukey becomes available and to judge how much interest there is. We will not send newsletters or pass your address on to anyone.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by sending an e-mail to the address above; we will then delete your entry.
Storage period: until you withdraw your consent, at the latest when the project is discontinued.
Hosting and server logs
The website runs on our own server in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Finland (EU). The web server records technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to keep it secure. These logs are deleted after 14 days.
No cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no external services – no content is loaded from other sites.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
